About our panelists 

Elisabeth Andvig is a political scientist with a Master in International Politics from Sciences Po, Bordeaux. She has worked on responsible business conduct for several years in international organizations such as the World Economic Forum, UNICEF and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). She was responsible for developing guidance based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights related to non-judicial mechanisms for access to remedy (OHCHR Accountability and Remedy Project II). She currently works for the secretariat of the OECD National Contact Point (NCP) in Norway. Prior to joining the NCP, she worked for the Council on Ethics of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund evaluating invested companies in accordance with the ethics criterion on human rights.

Kiran Aziz is Head of Responsible Investments at Norway’s largest pension company KLP.  She is responsible for ownership and responsible investment activities. Prior to joining KLP, Ms Aziz was a lawyer, lecturer and researcher. She also has extensive board experience. She is currently on board for Norwegian Refugee Council which is one of the world`s largest humanitarian organizations for displaced people and Dagbladet which is one of Norway’s largest newspapers.  She is also a columnist for Norway’s largest online newspaper for finance and business and is Advisory board member for ESG for Boards . Ms Aziz holds a law degree from the University of Oslo.
