How asset managers can prepare for the UK Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR)

Listen to us as we discuss the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)’s recently released Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) and next steps for UK asset managers.
How asset managers can prepare for the UK Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR)

The SDR aims to bring a standardized approach to how asset owners and managers communicate and market their sustainable investment products, through a combination of anti-greenwashing rules, investment labeling and disclosures. The FCA estimates 1,400 UK asset managers are in scope of the disclosure rules, and an estimated 5,500 firms are affected by the targeting rules.

Key points from the webinar include:

  • What is SDR and who is it for?
  • How is the SDR different from the SFDR?
  • What is the connection between the SDR and the wider UK regulatory context?
  • Understanding the new labeling rules and how that will apply to your funds.
  • What are the FCA timelines and what that means for your organization.
  • How to collect and report SDR related disclosures.
